Myself and Mrs BTR love a bit of Thai food and have eaten here multiple times over the last 6 months including Al La Carte and also a Friday Brunch........and the food has been excellent EVERY time.
The restaurant is set within the beautiful Park Hyatt Hotel at Dubai Creek, and when arriving via taxi or using the valet the service from the moment you enter is excellent. The hotel always smells beautiful as you enter the main reception - like entering a spa. The Thai Kitchen is set further down within the hotel at creek level, and if the weather is suitable (not too hot) I would always suggest requesting a table outside so you can view the creek area which is pretty. You also enjoy the courtyard seating area with fountain. The food - EXCELLENT!! Having traveled to Thailand and eaten from many other Thai establishments this is certainly one that provides authentic and quality food. The Al La Carte dinner experience is not cheap, but you pay for quality and in return you receive this - portion sizes are reasonable. Some dishes that are excellent - Pad Thai, Steamed Sea Bass and Dim Sum. Having recently experienced the Friday Brunch option, this was even better value for money - the menu selection is slightly smaller than of an evening menu, but the food is still excellent and definitely worth the 300 AED price tag.
BTR Expert Tip - Request a table outside by the fountain and order the steamed sea bass!!
