Mrs BTR and I stayed in Marina Bay Sands about 2 years ago (so account for any changes that may have occured since) at the end of our South Aisa trip also consisting of Bali and KL, and we were not disspointed by the experience this incredible hotel provides.
Its probably the biggest hotel that we have stayed in and from the moment we walked into Marina Bay Sands we were treated exceptionally by staff and enjoyed every moment. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the next grading of room and about 20 floors higher than initially booked and entered the room to find rose petals in the bath.......I can not remember the request i made, but ALWAYS state an occasion / event when your staying in a luxury hotel!! We had a large room with a great view over the Botanical Gardens located next to the hotel and from the hotel can explore the surrounding areas. Just walking through the hotel and to the connecting casino and mall can take up a few hours at a time and provides a good base to explore singpore from.
The pool at the top of the hotel is obviously a HUGE selling point for the hotel - but was totally worth the room fee and we were able to enjoy time in the pool and on the sunbeds with an incredible view across the Singapore skyline......something quite unique that not many hotels can offer.
BTR Expert Tip - Take a walk over the other side of the bay for food at the Hawker - really busy, good value street food!
